Private ambulance services

Run your ambulance service from one app.

Crews finish the patient report on scene. The office turns it into a claim. You see every call, every rand and every vehicle in one place.

  • Any phone, tablet or PC
  • Works without signal
  • Your own codes and tariffs

What EMSRelay does

  • Patient reports

A guided report on any phone. Scan the ID and hospital sticker, pick ready-written notes and sign on screen. It saves itself, even without signal.

  • Billing and claims

Every report becomes a claim priced from your own tariffs. See what is outstanding, what is overdue and who to follow up today.

  • Drug boxes and stock

A live register for every box and slot. Each dose is signed out, and expiries and shortfalls are flagged before an audit finds them.

  • Fleet and shifts

Daily vehicle checks, defects and licence reminders. Crews clock on to their shift and their vehicle.

  • Clinical review

A reviewer approves each report, or sends it back with a note.

  • Built for patient data

Two-step sign-in, access from South Africa only, tamper-evident records and a full audit log. Every service runs separately, with its own data.

Also included: treatment refusals, declarations of death, occurrence book, attendance and reports.

One record for every call

Where ambulance paperwork usually goes wrong.

In many ambulance services a single call leaves a trail in several places: a handwritten patient report, a claim typed up later, a drug-box register and a vehicle check book. Details get retyped, pages go missing, and the people chasing payment cannot see what the crew recorded.

EMSRelay records the call once and uses it everywhere it is needed. The crew's report becomes the clinical record, the reviewer's sign-off and the claim, so nothing is retyped between the road and the money.

How it works

  1. On sceneThe crew completes the report on a phone or tablet.
  2. ReviewA clinical reviewer approves it, or sends it back with a note.
  3. ClaimBilling builds the claim straight from the report, with no retyping.
  4. PaidEvery claim is tracked until the money is in.

From the scene to the bank

How one call moves through EMSRelay.

On scene

The crew opens a guided patient report on a phone or tablet. They scan the patient's ID and the hospital sticker, and EMSRelay checks the ID number and fills in the date of birth and gender. Ready-written notes replace typing, vital signs are charted as a trend and signatures are captured on screen. The report saves itself as the crew works, even without a signal.

Review and claim

A clinical reviewer approves each report, or sends it back with a note. Once it is approved, billing builds the claim straight from the report and prices it from your own tariffs, so there is no retyping.

Chasing the money

The debtors view shows what is outstanding, what is more than 90 days old, what was collected this month and which follow-ups are due. Every claim is tracked until the money is in.

Drug boxes, vehicles and shifts

Each drug box has a live register for every slot. Each dose is signed out, and expiries and shortfalls are flagged before an audit finds them. Crews clock on to their shift and their vehicle, daily vehicle checks and defects are recorded, and licence reminders come up in time.

Security

EMSRelay is built for patient data: two-step sign-in, access from South Africa only, tamper-evident records and a full audit log. Every service runs separately, with its own data.

Who it’s for

Private ambulance services in South Africa. Designed together with a working ambulance service, around its real reports, medical codes, drug boxes and billing rules.

Screens show sample data. Every service works a little differently, so the demo we build is shaped around yours: your medical codes and tariffs, your forms and your branding.

EMSRelay: common questions

Does EMSRelay work without a signal?

Yes. The patient report saves itself as the crew works, even when there is no signal.

Can we use our own tariffs and medical codes?

Yes. Claims are priced from your own tariffs and codes, and the demo we build is set up around the way your service works.

Which devices does it run on?

Any phone, tablet or PC. Crews use it on a phone or tablet on the road, and the office uses it on a computer.

How is patient information protected?

EMSRelay uses two-step sign-in, only allows access from South Africa, keeps tamper-evident records and logs every action in a full audit log. Every service runs separately, with its own data.
